Brave. Disney/Pixar Animation. Starring Kelly MacDonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, Sally Kinghom and Eilidh Frasher. Directed by Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman and Steve Purcell. Produced by Katherine Sarafian. Story by Brenda Chapman. Screenplay by Mark Andrews.

Merida is a red headed, wild hair princess who is a bit of a tom boy and marches to the beat of a different drummer. She prefers to shoot arrows and ride horses rather than be forced to by lady like and made prim and proper to be a future queen by her mom.

King & Queen

As with all fair tales, the good comes with the bad and at the end all is well.

Some parts of this movie may be a little too dark and intense for real young children under seven otherwise the older ones will like it.

****Excellent! (Ride Up Front 1st Class)!

The gang is back and that would be Alex (Lion), Marty (Zebra), Gloria (Hippo), Melman (Giraffe), King Julian, Maurice and the penguins. They are stuck in Europe with a hair brain scheme to form a fake circus to get them selves shipped back to New York. The action is non-stop as are the laughs. The colors in the film are exceptionally bright, beautiful and clear which makes the animation very receptive to the eyes. The children will love this one.

****Excellent! (Ride In The Front 1st Class)!

Simply put; a ditzy, don’t-know-what-she-wants-out-of-life wife, who has a boring cookbook writing husband who cooks chicken all day, is attracted to the boring next door neighbor who equally has no goals.

They have the most non-eventful affair that is certain to put you in a deep coma if you are having a can’t sleep night. I wouldn’t even rent this one! "Best Picture" for the Razzie's in my book!

Movie Review - Seeking A Friend For The end Of The world

Movie Review - Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World

By Rych McCain International/Nationally Syndicated Entertainment Columnist

Keira Knightley & Steve Carell Focus Pics photo
Seeking A Friend (For The End Of The World). Focus Features Films. Mandate Pictures, Indian Paintbrush Productions and Anonymous Content Productions. Starring Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Connie Britton, Adam Brody, Rob Corddry, Gillian Jacobs, Derek Luke, Melanie Lynskey, T.J. Miller, Mark Moses, Patton Oswalt and William Petersen. Written and Directed by Lorene Scafaria. Produced by Steve Golin, Joy Gorman Wettels, Steven Rales and Mark Roybal.

Picture it! A 70-mile-wide asteroid is streaking at dead aim toward earth. The last attempt to stop it fails when the rocket sent to destroy it blows up en route. Now there are only 21 days left for humanity to exist before the planet is destroyed. This movie is way too unreal! First, the government wouldn’t allow this situation to go public because all hell and civil disobedience would break out!

The people in this film were calm and busy having a last dinner and drinks before the end – totally unreal. The cast was top notch but the material was total lack luster and boring. This is one that you watch in the middle of a “can’t sleep” night to get drowsy again.
