The gang is back and that would be Alex (Lion), Marty (Zebra), Gloria (Hippo), Melman (Giraffe), King Julian, Maurice and the penguins. They are stuck in Europe with a hair brain scheme to form a fake circus to get them selves shipped back to New York. The action is non-stop as are the laughs. The colors in the film are exceptionally bright, beautiful and clear which makes the animation very receptive to the eyes. The children will love this one.

Simply put; a ditzy, don’t-know-what-she-wants-out-of-life wife, who has a boring cookbook writing husband who cooks chicken all day, is attracted to the boring next door neighbor who equally has no goals.

They have the most non-eventful affair that is certain to put you in a deep coma if you are having a can’t sleep night. I wouldn’t even rent this one! "Best Picture" for the Razzie's in my book!

Picture it! A 70-mile-wide asteroid is streaking at dead aim toward earth. The last attempt to stop it fails when the rocket sent to destroy it blows up en route. Now there are only 21 days left for humanity to exist before the planet is destroyed. This movie is way too unreal! First, the government wouldn’t allow this situation to go public because all hell and civil disobedience would break out!

The people in this film were calm and busy having a last dinner and drinks before the end – totally unreal. The cast was top notch but the material was total lack luster and boring. This is one that you watch in the middle of a “can’t sleep” night to get drowsy again.

The original Snow White was romantic but this version has a harsher bite to it. The action is alright and the fighting shows how the different European Kingdoms couldn’t get along to save face. Those who love knights on armored horses, haunted forests and freaky dwarfs will get off on this one.

Movie Review - Battleship

Aliens from space are back and as usual, in the beginning they kick all ass with no way to stop them. Suddenly, someone discovers a weak spot and the earthlings spring into action returning the payback ass-whipping!

Rihanna was OK delivering mostly one liners with no heavy extended dialog to memorize. The Navy ships and scenes were spectacular and the action was great as it should be for this type of film. It might even inspire young men to enlist in the Navy. Unfortunately this film is not doing that good at the box office.

Movie Review - Men In Black

It really might be time to change leading men for this franchise because Tommy Lee Jones is way to old and Will Smith either has lost the pazzaz he had 15 years ago or too much success has caused the hunger and the thrill to be gone. Throughout the film, both actors looked like they were just going through the motions.
