If you have ever been a victim of a school bully, this film
will boil your blood. The Motion Picture Association of America
has fought with the film’s producers and company about rating the movie “R”
because of the cruelty and violence that some young people perpetrate on their
less protected classmates.

However, the producers argue that students of all ages
must see this film and learn from it. “Bully”
clearly showcases the loop holes in school security that put thousands of
students at risk and in some extreme cases life threatening situations where
school administrators turn a blind eye or there are no specific guidelines or
set policies to deal with serious offenders. This documentary pulls no punches
and is a “must see” for youth and
parent discussion groups when it comes out on DVD.
