Batman (Christian Bale) |
Despite the horrific
massacre that occurred with the midnight opening in Aurora, Colorado, the film
went on to gross 160 million for the opening weekend. Unfortunately, the late Heath
Ledger’s performance as The Joker was way to hard of an act to follow.
|
Bane (Tom Hardy) Opens a can of whup-ass) |
The nemeses Bane’s only scary quality was physically administering back-of-the-alley ass whuppins, otherwise he
was just another run-of-the-mill evil freak wearing a mask.
|
Bat Girl Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) |
Our boy Batman spent way too much down
time throughout the film as a result of all of those ass whuppin’s he received
from Bane. Anne Hathaway looked like she was wearing butt padding in her pants
to make those close-up, rear ass shots look tempting when she was on her
motorcycle. The storyline was OK as was the action but this trilogy conclusion
was no match for the intensity of Ledger’s Joker!
