Jack (Duplass) is still reeling from his brother’s death a year later. He makes a scene at a memorial party and his ex-girl friend offers him her family cabin in the woods to chill out and get himself together. While he is there his ex’s sister shows up unannounced. They don't hit it off at first but after a few drinks, they end up in bed.

Hannah (Rosemarie) & Jack (Mark)
The pace is way to slow and the final build up has an incomplete ending. The entire film is comprised of boring conversation and beautiful outdoor photography shots. If you watch it at home in bed, you will definitely fall asleep – guaranteed!

Movie Review - The Dark Knight Rises

Movie Review - The Dark Knight Rises

By Rych McCain International/Nationally Syndicated Entertainment Columnist

The Dark Knight Rises. Warner Bros. Pictures, Legendary Pictures,  a Syncopy Production. Starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman. Directed by Christopher Nolan. Screenplay by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan. Story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer.  Batman is based on the DC Comics characters created by Bob Kane. Produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer.

Batman (Christian Bale)
Despite the horrific massacre that occurred with the midnight opening in Aurora, Colorado, the film went on to gross 160 million for the opening weekend. Unfortunately, the late Heath Ledger’s performance as The Joker was way to hard of an act to follow.

Bane (Tom Hardy) Opens a can of whup-ass)
The nemeses Bane’s only scary quality was physically administering  back-of-the-alley ass whuppins, otherwise he was just another run-of-the-mill evil freak wearing a mask.

Bat Girl Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway)
Our boy Batman spent way too much down time throughout the film as a result of all of those ass whuppin’s he received from Bane. Anne Hathaway looked like she was wearing butt padding in her pants to make those close-up, rear ass shots look tempting when she was on her motorcycle. The storyline was OK as was the action but this trilogy conclusion was no match for the intensity of Ledger’s Joker!

***Good! (Ride In The Middle)!

People Like Us. Walt Disney Studios, DreamWorks Pictures and Reliance Entertainment. Starring Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Hall D’Addario, Michelle Pfeiffer, Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Sara Mornell and Barbara Eve Harris. Directed by Alex Kurtzman. Written by Alex Kurtzman, Robert Orci and Jody Lambert. Produced by Roberto Orci, Bobby Cohen and Clayton Townsend.

L - R Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks & Michael H. D'addari
This is a heart warming story about a man who had a son and wife but he also had a daughter out of wedlock. After he died, the son eventually met his half sister and he discovered things about his dad and mom that he didn’t know.

Michelle Pfeiffer
The story is powerfully touching, emotionally dramatic and relevant to many of today’s family situations proving that the old standard model of a wife, husband and children in a single household is a thing of the past.

****Excellent! (Ride In The Front 1st Class)!
