End Of Watch. Open Road Films. Staring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena, America Ferrera, Anna Kendrick and Everton Lawrence. Written and Directed by David Ayer. Produced by David Ayer, Matt Jackson and John Lesher.

L-R: Mike (Pena) & Brian (Gyllenhaal)
David Ayer wrote “Training Day” that won a second Oscar® for Denzel Washington and in the same vein he brings us “End Of Watch,” a realistic, true life cop drama that he wrote, directed and produced.

Ayer lets his viewers see and feel what its like to live, love and work wearing an LAPD badge. Officers Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Pena) are shown at home with their families, at the station with their colleagues and we ride with them on patrol. That’s all hunkie-dory until they bump heads with a powerful Mexican Drug and human trafficking cartel. Then it becomes a fasten-your-seat-belt, high stakes ride. This one is a sure winner!

****Excellent! (Ride In Front 1st Class)
