This Tyler Perry film is different from his more familiar works but it strikes the same chords of self examination and being honest with oneself. For the nay-sayers who complain about Perry’s Madea flicks, this will definitely give a different side of the man. Thandie Newton and Jordenn Thompson as the homeless mother and daughter will deeply tug at your heart strings. Opening at #2 at the box office speaks volumes. Good wholesome flick to see.
