Safe House. Universal Pictures.
Starring Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds, Brendan Gleeson, Sam Shepard,
Vera
Farmiga and Fare Fares. Directed by Daniel Espinosa. Screenplay by David
Guggenheim. Produced by Scott Stuber.
Matt Weston (Reynolds)
is a low level, flunkie, CIA operative who babysits a CIA safe house for people
they arrest and hide in Cape Town, South Africa. He is bored out of his mind
and wants to be promoted to the real field until fugitive rogue former CIA
operative Tobin Frost (Washington) is brought in. We now have an action thrill
ride and a who can trust who game going on. We have us a good flick here with
plenty of action and suspense.
****EXCELLENT (Ride In Front, First Class!)
